The St. Francis Medical Center Auditorium was buzzing with excitement in anticipation of the latest American Career College-Orange County vocational nursing cohort's promotion on July 11. The candle lighting, capping and pinning ceremony represented the transition of the 10 students from the classroom to clinical rotations.
One by one the ACC-Orange County students were called to the stage and given their pins and lanterns as their families and friends in the audience cheered. Students, faculty and associates then read the practical nurse's pledge to remind them of the duties and responsibilities of a vocational nurse.
Congratulations class of 2018 and good luck in your clinicals!
