American Career College-Los Angeles celebrated its fifth class of associate degree in nursing graduates in Santa Fe Springs, CA on Sept. 22.
This ceremony also marked the launching of the Ellen M. Lewis Scholarship, named in honor of Ms. Ellen Lewis, the founding director of ACC-Los Angeles’ ADN program. Josseline Rey was named as the inaugural recipient of the $2,500 scholarship for her commitment and dedication to the nursing profession.
Graduate speakers Krystal and Melissa each took the stage to thank their cohort and everyone in attendance for their support through the 20-month program. Following the speeches, each of the 27 graduates walked the stage to receive their pin in front of family and friends.
