Students from American Career College-Los Angeles got a chance to dress up and meet with working peers during a Pharmacy Technician Week event sponsored by Good Rx at the Melrose Umbrella Co.
ACC-Los Angeles pharm tech students from morning, midday and evening classes attended the October meet-up, which took place in the heart of Los Angeles' historic Melrose shopping district. Students wore their lab coats and looked very professional and sharp, ACC-LA Career Services Director Gohar Abrahamian said.
“Students were very happy and looked very enthusiastic about this mixer,” Abrahamian said. “They were exchanging information with other pharmacy technicians who were there from different pharmacies. They were telling our students what to expect and what they need to focus on before they get out into the real world.”
