In partnership with City of Hope, students and staff at American Career College-Los Angeles signed up more than 60 potential live-saving bone marrow transplantation donors in September.
During the campaign with "Be the Match," ACC-LA helped sign up 65 people for the national marrow donor program during the two-day drive. ACC-Los Angeles Student Services Coordinator Ruthy Rodriguez said she was very impressed by the student engagement and commitment to help the community.
"This was most definitely a team effort between all staff and faculty," Rodriguez said. "It truly took a village."
