American Career College campuses got to show off its school pride this January with the launch of a new campaign to promote student values.
ACC P.R.I.D.E.
Perseverance
Responsibility
Integrity
Discipline
Empathy
P.R.I.D.E. at ACC now represents a combination of traits including "perseverance," "responsibility," "integrity," "discipline" and "empathy," according to Vice President for Academics, Dr. Susan Moreland.
At ACC-Long Beach's recent P.R.I.D.E. day, students and staff members enjoyed a classroom activity and then joined together in the lobby for refreshments and a tote bag giveaway with P.R.I.D.E messages inside.
At ACC-Lynwood, students gathered in the Student Resource Center for cake and gifts after a pep talk from Lani Townsend, executive director of ACC-Lynwood and ACC-Long Beach.
