ACC-Ontario Welcomes Inaugural Cohort of ADN Graduates

10/30/2023

American Career College-Ontario celebrated the first graduating cohort from its associate degree in nursing program this fall at a pinning ceremony on campus.

"The students were pinned by their loved ones or fellow nurses and received a symbolic lamp and candle in honor of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing,” ACC-Ontario Nursing Dean Stacey Hernandez de Leon said.

To conclude the ceremony, the graduates recited the Nightingale Pledge, a tradition to reaffirm their unwavering commitment to their patients and community, Hernandez de Leon said.

ACC’s ADN program is available at the Los Angeles and Ontario campuses, and students can earn their degree in as few as 20 months.
