To help launch the Cruz Cares and American Career College school supply drive, ACC-Los Angeles took a group of student ambassadors this August to meet the Cruz Show at the Real 92.3 radio station in Burbank.
The supply drive is from Aug. 30 to Sept. 25.
The winning school will be announced Sept. 27 on the Cruz Show and will receive $5,000 plus the school supplies collected from ACC campuses in Anaheim, Ontario and Los Angeles.
ACC-LA Student Services coordinator Ruthy Rodriguez said the student ambassadors and staff had a great time and were treated to a tour of the entire broadcast center.
"Visiting the radio station was an amazing experience," Rodriguez said. "We actually went live on the Fuego at 5 and announced the fifth and second song on the air."
