More than 750 students and graduates from American Career College-Ontario got one step closer to starting their healthcare career after taking part in the fall job fair this November.
"We had a great event on campus today with lots of happy employers, both new and continuous supporters of the ACC family, as well as excited students and graduates who were set up with interviews," ACC-Ontario Career Services director Juan Jimenez said.
Jimenez said 40 employers from different areas in the healthcare industry attended the event, including large corporations like West Coast Dental, Pacific Dental Services, Maxim, America’s Best Contact & Eyeglasses, SuperCare, Renew, One Legacy and many others. Some of the feedback provided by the employers was all the positive energy they felt as soon as they walked in the door, Jimenez said, and how supportive and friendly the staff and faculty were throughout their visit.
"This was a very successful event which has opened up an enormous opportunity to help our graduates in finding opportunities in their field of study, but it would not be possible without everyone’s involvement, hard work and determination," Jimenez said. "It's said that it takes a village to make things work, and I am very proud to be part of this village full of very dedicated individuals with the same goal in mind."
